SEM permits concurrent checking of the direct and indirect effects of all hypotheses.
Using Amos 20, structural equation modeling (SEM) was performed to assess the study hypotheses. Using survey data from 704 YouTube users from Jordan’s bilingual academic institutes, the research model was empirically validated. Hence, the goal of this study is to examine the various factors that influence the use of YouTube as a learning tool, which influences academic achievement in a bilingual academic context. YouTube usage as a learning tool is evident among students. This study is unique in exploring rumination in the context of the relationship between parent–child anxiety and depression due to the use of social networks. Behavioral intention to use social media can be enticed by enjoyment, trust, ease of use, usefulness, and social influences. The authors found support for the structural model whereby behavioral intention to use social media influences the parent’s anxiety and depression which correlate to their offspring’s anxiety and depression. The authors recruited 857 parents to complete relevant web survey measures with constructs and items and a model based on different research models TAM and extended with trust, analyzed using SEM, CFA with SPSS and AMOS, and ML methods, using the triangulation method to validate the results and help predict future applications. The purpose of this paper is to test the influence of different factors on children’s depression and anxiety, extending from parents’ anxiety and depression in Jordan. However, little research has explored parents’ depression and anxiety constructs as mediators that may account for children’s depression and anxiety. Previous research has found support for depression and anxiety associated with social networks. To the best of the authors’ knowledge, this is the first study on the level of awareness, use and attitudes of university students towards e-books in Pakistan. This study will provide guidelines to information professionals for development of their e-book collection and implementation of innovative approaches in library services or e-books services to facilitate their users according to their need. This paper offers a new idea to academic libraries related to purchasing e-books. Therefore, its findings may not be applied to other universities or other disciplines. This study was limited to four disciplines in four universities, one discipline per university.
There was a significant difference of opinion found among students of different disciplines regarding the use of e-books. Online features of e-books were important to them. Most of the respondents had a positive attitude towards e-books and indicated that they considered e-books are easy to find and support them in their assignments. The results of this study indicated that students were aware of e-books and used them in their daily lives. A total of 305 responses were collected from a sample of 400, and 303 of those responses were used for data analysis. A structured questionnaire was designed and used for data collection from four different universities of Pakistan. This study used a quantitative research design based on the survey method. The purpose of this study was to explore the level of awareness, use and attitudes of students regarding e-books.
